Notice of Vacancy on the\u00a0Board\u00a0of Education<\/strong><\/p>\n

On January\u00a01, 2026, the\u00a0Board\u00a0will have two open\u00a0seats.\u00a0 Under Ohio law and\u00a0Board\u00a0policy, the\u00a0Board\u00a0has 30 days from that date within which to fill a vacancy on the\u00a0Board\u00a0of Education. The\u00a0Board\u00a0intends to fill the vacancy at its next regular meeting\u00a0on January 14, 2026.\u00a0 Interested candidates for the appointment to these vacant\u00a0Board\u00a0seats\u00a0should communicate to\u00a0Board\u00a0Treasurer Greg Sciola via email at\u00a0greg.sciola@badgerbraves.org<\/a>\u00a0on or\u00a0before January 10, 2026.<\/p>\n

The Joseph Badger Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting on the third Wednesday of each month in the Auditorium at 6:00 pm.\u00a0 \u00a0All Board of Education meetings are open to the public.\u00a0 (see scheduled dates below)\u00a0\u00a0Upon request to the Superintendent, the District shall make reasonable accommodation for a disabled person to be able to participate in this activity.<\/p>\n

The Joseph Badger Board of Education is a non-partisan, elected body created by the Ohio General Assembly.\u00a0 There are five Board members each elected to four-year terms that overlap.\u00a0 The Board derives its authority and responsibilities from state and federal law.\u00a0 The Board president conducts Board meetings and acts as spokesperson for the Board.<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon request to the Treasurer, the District shall make reasonable accommodation for a disabled person to be able to participate in this activity.<\/em><\/p>\n
