Ohio Household Income Form<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n
Joseph Badger Schools will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Under this option, all children in the school receive a breakfast\/lunch at no charge regardless of household income. However, to determine eligibility for various additional state and federal program benefits that your child\u2019s school may qualify for, please complete, sign and return this application to your school building. Applications may be returned in person with your student, via mail, or emailed to\u00a0christina.stanhope@jbold.badgerbraves.org<\/a>.<\/h5>\n

\nWe are pleased to inform you that Joseph Badger School District will be implementing an\u00a0option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast\u00a0Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for School Year 2025-2026.<\/p>\n

What does this mean for you and your children attending our schools?<\/p>\n

Great news for you and your students! All enrolled students of Joseph Badger School District,\u00a0regardless of household income, are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school\u00a0at no charge to your household each day of the 2025-2026 school year. No further action is\u00a0required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without\u00a0having to pay a fee or submit an application.
\nWe will continue to provide the same great lunches our students are accustomed to and are\u00a0proud to offer this valuable benefit to our families. We will also continue to offer a la carte\u00a0items in our third line for middle\/high school lunches. Payment for these items will be required\u00a0as they are not covered under the CEP program, and students will not be permitted to purchase\u00a0a la carte extras if they have a negative cafeteria balance. FREE HEALTH CARE: Families with children eligible for school meals may be eligible for FREE health care coverage through Medicaid and\/or Ohio\u2019s Healthy Start & Healthy Families programs. These programs include coverage for doctor visits, immunizations, physicals, prescriptions, dental, vision, mental health, substance abuse and more. Please call 1-800-324-8680 for more information or to request an application. Information can also be found on the web at\u00a0http:\/\/jfs.ohio.gov\/ohp\/consumers\/familychild.stm<\/a>. Anyone who has an Ohio Medicaid card is already receiving these services.<\/p>\n
